The idea of running food workshops and cookery
classes are: - • To create small friendly groups
of adult, children and mixed groups to be aware and learn about
healthy, nutritious, new and seasonal food. • To give
experience and confidence in cooking and trying old and new
exciting food recipes. • To share ideas and develop
everyone’s skills. • To have fun whilst having
an understanding of basic nutritious and healthy food. •
To share recipes and ideas from different cultures. •
To work in a no-risk environment to try new recipes.
Each student’s needs are taken into consideration when
working out class and recipe plans.
Special dietary needs are also considered and taught- religious,
cultural, special diets, gluten free, diabetes, likes and dislikes.
Learn that healthy food tastes good. |
